Tasty Food Box is an Australian comparison site for meal kit and prepared meal delivery services. We compare, synthesise and verify data so Australians can make faster, better-informed decisions about which service suits them.
Tasty Food Box is an editorial comparison site — not a review platform, not a blog of personal testimonials, and not a content farm. We don't pretend to have personally subscribed to every service we list. What we do is compile verified third-party data and present it clearly alongside our editorial analysis.
Every score on this site comes directly from ProductReview.com.au — Australia's largest consumer review platform, with genuine verified reviews from real customers. We don't invent scores, weight them, or adjust them based on commercial relationships.
We include a provider if it meets all three of the following criteria:
Any provider with a score below 3.5/5 automatically receives a visible warning badge on every page where it appears — category listings, comparison rows, versus pages and provider fiches.
All scores are sourced from ProductReview.com.au — specifically the Food Delivery Services category. We check these scores and review counts periodically and update our data. Each page displays a "last verified" date.
We note the review volume tier alongside each score (100+, 1000+) because a 4.5 based on 120 reviews carries less weight than a 4.1 based on 18,000 reviews. Both facts are displayed on every provider card and fiche.
This commission structure is standard practice for comparison sites operating under Australian Consumer Law. We comply with the ACCC's requirements for affiliate disclosure.

Providers cannot pay to appear higher in results, improve their score, or have negative information removed from their fiche.
Prices in the meal kit and prepared meal industry change frequently — particularly introductory offers, per-serving prices and delivery fees. Where we display a price, we do our best to verify it regularly, but always check the provider's website for the current price before purchasing. Prices marked "TBC" are awaiting verification.
Our data is maintained and updated as regularly as possible. Each provider page displays the date on which the information was last verified. In our V1 release, this includes ProductReview scores, delivery states, dietary options and service structure. Prices and live promotions are updated in a separate verification cycle.
